I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN home of the Chattanooga Choo Choo, The Tennessee State Aquarium, and The Battles of Lookout Mountain and Missionary Ridge during the Civil War. I attended McCallie High School where I was All State and All City in Track. I then went on to attend Vanderbilt University where I double majored in History and Secondary Education. I moved to San Antonio in 1988 and taught at San Antonio Academy for 7 years, teaching Literature, English, ESL, PE, and Texas History. While there I also coached Soccer, Basketball, Cross Country, and Track. I am now beginning my 22nd year at Stinson where I have taught Texas History, American History, World History, as well as, coached football, basketball and track, and sponsored Student Council
